In a chance audition in 2002 she landed a voice actor position in a PC game and debuted with two works around the same time. She was noted as a voice actress for her portrayal of two completely different characters, Nazo oki kamokuna shojo and Oshiego to no koi ni nayamu jokyoshi when she debuted. Her forte is making use of her unique husky deep mid-bass voice for androgynous characters and she can play a wide range of roles, from energetic young girls to adult females to young boys. After being offered the opportunity to debut as a vocalist she continues to work in the voice actor industry, side by side with her energetic singing activities.
While producing broad ranging albums for major and independent labels she has featured in various CDs as a guest.
She uses a style in which she can use a variety of vocal sounds depending on the music, as if playing a role, centering on pop but working in a wide range of styles from rock, folk, jazz and techno to denpa song.
She is active as a songwriter, and in addition to her own music she also provides music for other voice actors and vocalists.
She and her friends both acknowledge that she is unlucky with the weather (A woman who brings rain).
